I had a good time collaborating with Kayci, Thea, Kaity, and Alaya to make our Edtech presentation on technology in the classroom and its effects on student wellbeing. We all studied areas that interested us and then combined them to make a presentation. It was cool to all do our own things but have them fit together in a cohesive theme, as well as to hear and learn more about the different areas my classmates studied. Alaya’s presentation on more comprehensive sex ed was particularly interesting and not something I had thought about in the context of technology.

I had never recorded a presentation over Zoom before, but it turned out to be quite easy and foolproof. I think this could be a useful tool for high school students to use as well so that they do not have to find time in their busy schedules to meet in person to film a presentation. Also, instead of taking up a class block with students presenting in person, the teacher could watch the Zoom presentations in their own time, which could be useful if time is tight.
